Qualification Purpose
The purpose of the Level 5 is to develop the knowledge & skills required by managers & leaders. Achieving the qualification should enable learners to innovate and respond to a changing environment and to meet challenges & opportunities within the sector.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific entry requirements however learners must be in a job role appropriate to the chosen units. The qualification is suitable for learners of 19 years of age and above.
Progression
Successful learners can progress to further qualifications within the social care sector or other parts of the sector. Learners may also use the qualification for entry, credit transfer or advanced standing for a qualification higher education institution

- Care manager
Officers in charge/registered manager - Day services manager
